Darkness falls over Bridlington and the harbour
The Gannets return to Staple Newk, Bempton RSPB reserve.
It is difficult to understand the sheer scale of the cliffs at Bempton until you actually experience them. The Gannets are back and so are the humans to watch them. Both are dwarfed by the size of the cliffs in this picture and are almost impossible to see. The inlay of the viewing point gives a sense of the scale. Click to view at full size.
Last night’s sunset on the Bridlington Pirate ship
The crowds flocked to Bridlington this last Sunday as the sun managed to get a bit of warmth to the beaches. Suddenly summer didn’t seem that far away.
The weather in Bridlington today is miserable, pouring with rain. So to brighten the day up we thought we’d go back to some long distant memories of Summer. We’re liking the idea of this one!
Something a little different today… anyone feeling hungry….call in on your way home and have some great fish and chips…. you know you want too!
